How can I buy TheBooks®
TheBooks is sold and supported directly by DMAXX, LLC. We do not use third parties to provide installation, support, or training services to our customers. In general, TheBooks is not appropriate for advisors with less than $10M USD in assets under management. DMAXX, LLC only sells to advisors registered with the NFA.
Advisors with less than $10M USD in assets under management may wish to consider using TheBooks as an out-sourced solution provided by firms such as CTA Services.
Pricing and availability
Pricing for TheBooks is a tiered structure based on assets under management and is a monthly right to use fee that includes the software, support, upgrades, training and installation. The floor for pricing is for advisors with less than $35M USD in assets under management.
TheBooks is sold in three editions:
- The complete application
- A Reconciliation-only version which provides the reconciliation capabilities of TheBooks only
- A Data Manager-only version which provides the Data Manager capabilities of TheBooks only
The software runs at your location and both the data and the software are resident on your computers. DMAXX, LLC does not provide out-sourced accounting or computing services.

Out-sourced back office solutions
While DMAXX, LLC does not provide out-sourced accounting services, other firms do provide these services using TheBooks. For those organizations that want to out-source their back office operations, these service providers can offer an attractive alternative because of the highly automated operations TheBooks provides them.
In addition, if you decide to bring your operations in-house at a later time, and you decide to utilize TheBooks in your internal operations, your complete history while your back office was out-sourced can easily be restored into your version of TheBooks.
